Colophon

This site was hand-coded in a text editor using some of the latest in web standards technology. The markup is xHTML with CSS positioning. If you use the Mozilla or Opera browsers, you can use the site navigation bar to get around the site.

The site's text is virtually set in Georgia (where available), and the poems are set in Courier New (again, where available). The logotype is ITC American Typewriter, which has a couple of really nice ampersands.

The drawings are rendered with a variety of different inks on a variety of different papers, then scanned with my Epson Perfection 636u and touched up in Photoshop. I usually draw in pencil, ink over the pencil, then erase any pencil marks that still show, but I will also go straight to ink from time to time.

The poems are often written in my head while I am waking up in the morning, which is part of the reason I called the project "Cereal & Milk." Sometimes I have to scramble for a piece of paper or log into my computer while still in my underpants in order to write them down. I think underpants are funny.
